What exactly is a Pre-Biotic?

A Pre-Biotic is a food source for the skin’s ‘good’ microflora, more commonly known as bacteria. Just like our fingerprint, we all have our own microflora ecosystem that’s unique to us, made up of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ bacteria.

We are literally covered from head to toe in microflora (it’s like an extension of us!), which is why it’s so important to maintain our levels of Pre-Biotic.

What do Pre-Biotics do for our skin?
